A3 BOLTED TARGETS

A3 Tactical's "bolted" targets are designed to be used on any of our reactive target systems where the target gets bolted to the target stand or base. These targets have a proprietary mounting flange exclusive to A3 Tactical target designs.We also offer swinging/hanging targets that generally hang from chains or cables. -What target do I choose for my A3 target system? All A3 Tactical "bolted" targets are compatible with any of our stands where the target bolts to the target base or stand. We offer various shapes and sizes to accomodate whatever your shooting distance may be as well as optional steel grades for high or low velocity calibers.

-Do I buy Steel targets for my application or AR500 targets? Generally speaking, mild steel targets will work just fine for 90% of pistol calibers and some suppressed rifle calibers under 1200 feet per second. So if you only plan to shoot common pistol calibers such as .22 caliber, 9mm, .40 caliber, or .45 caliber you can save some money and buy mild steel targets. AR500 targets are designed for high velocity calibers such as .223 (5.56x45), 7.62x39, 30-30, .308, 30-06, etc. We have tested our AR500 targets with high velocity calibers up to .30-06 with no problems. Higher velocity calibers or calibers that produce more kinetic energy may damage your target and are not recommended.
